Funkapalooza

The brain child of Billy McCormick, (with help from Charley Snyder and Charlie Jones), Funkapalooza first debuted at Term 2 east campus 2006 on the second Friday in Pegram Commons at eight o'clock. This epic night of dance and good music featured the musical talents of such bands as Hazard to ya' booty, George Clinton, Parliament, Prince, James Brown, and more. Many people, including several members of TIP staff, considered the music played at Funkapalooza to be superior to that of most TIP dances. The date and location of Funkapalooza '07 have yet to be announced, and McCormick has yet to appoint a new leader of Funkapalooza for the '08 year.
