I am Groot

Connor, a 3rd-year tipster at DUML 2018 from 1:30pm to 10:45pm saying nothing but "I am Groot". However, at hour 5, he slipped up and said: "Did you see that spiral though". They were going to add time to how long he could only say "I am Groot", but Ethan decided to take one for the team and stay silent for a few hours so Connor wouldn't need the time penalty. Then, Rodney (the On Site Director) came up and this happened:
Rodney: "Ethan, why aren't you talking?" Ethan: "..." Rodney: "Ethan, what's wrong?" Ethan: "..." Rodney to Connnor: "Why isn't Ethan talking?" Connor: "... I am Groot"
