Mandatory TIPSYNC
From the archives of TiPWiki, the unofficial Duke TIP Wiki
In 2019 at Duke East, something catastrophic occurred. Due to the lack of students who had signed up for TIPSYNC, it was made mandatory. The students were outraged, ranting angrily about the injustice of the situation to their RCs. However, out of this anger came creativity and protest. Rag groups decided on the best way to protest the required TIPSYNC
When TIPSYNC began, we knew we were in for a wild ride. After a humourous Bee Movie dance, a throwback dance, and a single act, the first act of protest took place.
Other protest pieces included
- I Wanna Dance With Somebody - Kira’s Krew
- The National Anthem - Max’s RAG
- Slow dancing to a Gregorian chant - Hannah’s RAG
- The Scooby Doo Theme - Mary-Austin’s RAG
