History
OG began during Term 2 in 2017. Many people who had hung out with each other and interacted during the term were added, including people who had been to TiP for years, people who began third-year, and people who would not be returning for their fourth year. It became a way to stay in contact with each other and organize TiPunions. It was also used by many as a list of people to hook up with.
This chat was used almost incessantly throughout the year, and is home to some very memorable pictures, videos, and quotes.The motto of OG soon became "What happens in OG stays in OG" and for good reason. OG became very close-knit throughout the year, in fact creating many friendships between people who hadn't talked much (or at all!) during term. The name "OG" soon became more than just a groupchat name and began to function as the title for the friend group as a whole, and was even used by many tipsters not in the group to refer to it.
Members of OG frequented the conference rooms, particularly Assplow Conference Room (during 2017, their third year) and Pegram Conference Room (during 2018, their fourth year) to hang out, have floorgies, play music, and do certain not-so-tippropriate activities. You could also often find them sitting at the long table at breakfast, playing loud music on the Pegram bench, or having bathroom parties.
