Rachel VanDaalen bestowed the Penguin of Death, an enlightening poem with illustrations, upon Emily Tseng at the beginning of East, Term 1 2007 as a gift from London.

In this book, the Penguin kills the narrator using Method 412, whilst munching on biscuits and sipping tea.

Noah Levine had an exceptional talent for reading this book aloud to groups of TIPsters.

After being stalked by Martini Thomson and Hannah Wang, Thomas Morris was given the name Penguin, due to his uncanny resemblance to the penguin in the story.
