Photo of the Day

Photo of the day is a term 2 University of Georgia tradition created in 2018. The tradition, started by Lance Gore Hightower, involves an unplanned and often bad quality photo being taken everyday throughout the term. These photos are often prefaced by the pictureboy (or picturegirl) shouting "photo of the day!" or something to that effect. The photos are stored in the picturebook (totally not a glorified card binder) which is wrapped in some of the last remaining 'Let the Big Dawg Eat' stickers. Towards the end of the term, the photos are scanned, and hung up, at tip-prom. The photos try to capture what was the biggest or most important moment of that tipsters day. The person that holds the camera needs to be able to bring people together and get people excited for the photo of the day, and for tip as a whole.
