Origin

"Reading books" is euphemism for sexual intercourse at Texas A&M Term II in 2011. Its usage came about during the orientation assembly. Three RCs (names needed) were performing the skit where they were explaining about why guys can't go in girls' rooms. It began with the two male RCs talking about how a girl invited them to her room. The girl RC walks in and invites the two to come in her room and "read books"... the entire room broke up in laughter. Since that sketch, TiPsters at A&M have used it frequently. It could possibly be the most popular joke of the whole term.
