Every morning of Davidson Term 2 2014, the Creative Writing class assembled under the most majestic tree on campus before heading to class. Early in the term, it was decided that the tree, as glorious as it was, needed a name. Therefore, someone (probably Abigail) dubbed him Walter. Walter's wisdom, strength and majesty were revered and loved by all in Creative Writing.
