Main office is the mystical, mysterious entity that organizes TIP and its rules. Not much is known about the inner workings of Main Office. It is known as pretty much a fact that the Main of Main Office, the Tip-Top of TIP is a Duke University psychologist who organized TIP as a research program dedicated to investigating teaching talented students.

It is also known, based on the PR person who answered a question about the TipWiki regarding The Fall at Wake Forest, that the Main Office does in fact monitor the Wiki as a source of information and possibly research.
