Mine Diamonds is a song created by YouTuber MineCraft Awesome Parodys, which was spread around at Davidson in Term 1 of 2018. The song is a parody of “Take on Me,” but sung by a young child with a Minecraft theme and generic Minecraft parody lyrics. The song has millions of views on YouTube, and it is a meme in and of itself. The meme did not take long to spread at Davidson. The spread was started by James, spread by Dale and the rest of Debbie’s RC group, eventually reaching many other parts of the camp. It was performed at the Talent Show by James at the finale of his improv act.
