Ultimate Frisbee, the major sport pastime of TIPsters.
It is not uncommon that a TIPster will learn to play Ultimate for the first time at TIP. A frisbee will often be brought to class for the sake of playing Ultimate during the breaks and after lunch. It is rare that a TIPster returns home with the frisbee he/she brought. It has been recorded that CJ Hopkins (Davidson Term II 2009) once called Ultimate Frisbee "football for wusses." After several painful encounters with the game, one can only hope he has changed his mind.
