Duke East Term 1

I am writing these like diary entrys, I dont wanna forget any of the shit that went down.

2019 - 2nd Year

My second year at tip was anything but boring. I took History of the Future where many things were debated such as the real identity of Kyle, who in fact is actually Ethan, houses that double as candles, and many other topics in Ryans ’10-minute’ lectures that were in fact never actually just 10-minutes. I would always hangout in the The Duke East 2019 Crackhead Lounge, and was a founding member of it as well as the . My boys went Tik Tok Famous, I even got married in the marriages My friends and everyone I met here meant so much to me, and I don’t wanna forget any of you guys. If I listed everyone, It would go on, like, forever, and I don’t want to go through that. I do want to remember Katie Maddox; what an amazing human being that was always there for me and hopefully I could be there for her when she needed me. Well, I have so much else I want to remember about this year, but I so want to leave a message for anyone who happens to stumble upon this in the future, and something I don’t want future me to forget in the time between now and tip next year.

You deserve the world, don’t forget that.

Charlotte....man, where do I even start with you? I met Charlotte on the first day of TIP, 2019, when I was a nervous ball of energy and she was this unattainable, third -year-energy second year. We met in The Duke East 2019 Crackhead Lounge with a lot of other people, and from the beginning I just had this feeling that we were connected in some way, you know? I know - it's cliche. But we just clicked in this way, that even when I barely knew her name or her breakfast order or anything else about her I just felt so...at home. I don't know, there's just something about her - something that draws people to her like a magnet. As the weeks went by, some things changing and some things not, she was always there for me. She was the person who let me sob into her shoulder after the He-Who-Should-Not-Be-Named stuff was going down. She was the person who would always be outside my door at 8:05, ready to walk with me to breakfast or wake me up from a late sleep. (Sorry for that, by the way.) She was the girl who would scream with me into the night during Moonscream, a smile upturned at the corners of her mouth. Slowly but surely, without me realizing it, she became one of the people who defined my term for the better. Sorry. I'm rambling. I'll try to cut it shorter. There are a couple of things you should know about Char, if any perspective friends or more than thats are reading. #1 - She's kind. Well, at least sometimes. She's blunt but always has the people she genuinely likes interests at heart. You can always rely on her to tell it as it is. #2 - She's actually smart. Yes, she has her control group moments, but damn. Her mind is POWERFUL. And finally, the great #3 - she's worth taking a risk for. I promise, you want this girl in your life. If any of you reading this have the opportunity to get to know Charlotte, take it. Char is one of the most caring, most adventurous, most alive people I have ever met at TIP. She will make the couple weeks you have with her some of the best of your life, and leave you wanting more when it's over. It's bittersweet at the end, but it's so, so worth it, being in the lives of amazing people like Charlotte. So don't pass this up, OK? I'm out for now, this ended up being very sappy, sorry oops. -You Know Who
